Not many men could pull off an all-white suit and dickie bow tie for afternoon tea...accompanied by a chicken no less...but my grandfather sure could. Legendary gent! Photo taken in Shanghai in the late 1930s in when he was head of British customs. #mensstyleicons #grandfather #inspirationalmen #agentlemansjotter #gentlemanstyle #gentleman #classicgentleman #whitesuit

Nothing like the ticking heartbeat of a vintage pocket watch movement. This one belongs to the swiss and cased by English jeweller John Durden between, 1850-1899. #johndurden #pocketwatch #victorianantique #fobwatch #watches #timepiece #horology #watchmovement #watchcollection #menslifestyle #agentlemansjotter #lblogger #watchlover #mensaccesories #watchfam
Old London is still alive and well if you go looking for it. Goodwin’s Court (once Fishers Alley) was first recorded in the capital’s rate books in 1690 and it seems most probable that the houses/shops were built in the court that year. (Ref: LCC Survey). It was also once home to the offices of illustrious Australian born, British theatrical agent Margaret Francesca ‘Peggy’ Ramsay (27 May 1908 - 4 September 1991), whom worked above at 14a from the early 1960’s. #oldlondon #hiddenlondon #secretlondon #agentlemansjotter #londonerslondon #londonphoto #londonphotography #londonhistory #london #londonarchitecture #lovelondon #londoner #londonblogger #thisislondon #beautifullondon #londonbylondoners #hiddentreasures #historicplaces #londongram #goodwinscourt #fishersalley #peggyramsay #margaretramsay
